Scientists around the world continue to find ways to reduce the spread of the Coronavirus, due to the unprecedented speed of its arrival in most countries of the world. In a research published in (ChemRxiv), a group of scientists used the Summit AI supercomputer, which uses artificial intelligence to perform complex mathematical calculations to find out the pharmacological compounds that can help slow the spread of the pandemic as a COVID-19. Indeed, 77 medicinal substances were identified from It would hinder the use of the virus by the cells of the human body as host cells, or reduce its ability to recognize or disable it, and it is considered a first step to produce treatments to eliminate it. The results of the research were put before the attention of the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and similar agencies
the Summit AI supercomputer is the fastest computer in the world working on artificial intelligence (AI), as it performs 200 quadrillion calculations per second, and it works like a million laptops at the same time. (IBM) manufactured it at the request of the US Department of Energy in 2014 and the stated goal was His work is "Solving the Problems of the World" and has contributions such as identifying patterns of Alzheimer's disease, climate analysis, genetics related to narcotic drugs and many others
